Travel & Stay

Travel

For those visiting from out of the state or the country, welcome to our home.

flying to Atlanta

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has direct flights to and from most major airports.

Uber and Lyft are readily available. MARTA also runs directly from the airport to Midtown and Buckhead via the red and gold lines.

Getting Around town

Atlanta’s best explored by car. Most areas aren’t walkable, so we recommend using Uber or Lyft to skip the hassle of parking.

Things to do

Atlanta has no shortage of fun things to do, but we’ve narrowed it down to a few of our favorite spots to help you make the most of your visit.

Activities

While the wedding takes place on the grounds, the Atlanta History Center offers so much more to explore beyond the big day. From historic homes and lush gardens to fascinating exhibits and immersive experiences, it’s well worth a visit. As our guest, you’ll receive complimentary admission throughout the weekend.

Lined with local restaurants, breweries, shops and scenic views, the Beltline is an Atlanta hotspot for locals and visitors. Kick-off at Ponce City Market and stroll your way down to Krog Street, home to our first apartment together.

The Beltline (Ponce City Market & Krog Street Market)

For a quiet moment away from the bustle, take a leisurely drive through Tuxedo Park - one of Atlanta’s most historic and picturesque neighborhoods. Winding roads, century-old oaks, and stunning homes make this a lovely escape and a glimpse into Atlanta’s timeless charm.

Just up the road is Chastain Park, one of our favourite spots to walk, talk, and dream about the future. Whether it’s a stroll through the park, watching the horses, or catching sunset, it’s a peaceful place that means a lot to us - and we hope you’ll enjoy it, too.

Dining

Scott’s Favorite: Rumi’s Kitchen (Persian)

Chic vibes, bold flavors–Rumi’s is Scott’s go-to for a night out. Lizzy loves the Kashk Badenjoon, Scott says you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Lizzy’s Favorite: Forza Storico (Italian)

Tucked in West Midtown, Forza is Lizzy’s top pick for date night. She dreams of the Chitarra Arrabiatta, Scott swears by the cacio e pepe.

Shared Favorite: Little Tart (Coffee & Pastries)

Head to Grant Park for the full pastry lineup or Krog for a strollable stop. Lizzy’s all about the veggie quiche, Scott’s team cookies.
